Police are looking for a 15-year-old Houma girl who has been missing from an alternative home in Alexandria since Friday.

Destiny Ledet ran away from the Renaissance Home for Youth, Houma
Police said. She had said she would get back to Houma by any means
necessary, police said.Ledet is 5 foot 2 inches tall and weighs
about 100 pounds. Attempts to reach Ledet's family were unsuccessful
Thursday afternoon.Anyone with information can call Houma Police detective Keith Craft at 858-5054.

A 15-year-old girl reported missing since last week was found by authorities Friday morning.
Destiny Ledet ran away from the Renaissance Home for Youth, an
alternative home in Alexandria, Houma Police said. She had said she
would get back to Houma by any means necessary, police said.Ledet
was found on a bus heading back to Alexandria, said Donna Besson, the
girl's mother. Besson said Ledet had been sent to the home because she
consistently ran away.Besson said her daughter is being transported to Houma.
