Orlando, FL – Was Casey Anthony taken into police custody the night her mother reported Caylee Anthony missing? That question was the focus of yesterday’s hearing before Chief Judge Belvin Perry.

The young mother’s defense team is trying to prove that Anthony was, or may have at least thought that she was, in custody because they want the judge to throw out potentially incriminating statements she made to police on July 15 and 16, 2008.
