A spat with her family caused a vacationing 15-year-old from
Texas to run away from her motel Monday evening and she has not been
seen since, according to information from Panama City Beach Police Department.
Haley Ann Bland, 5 feet 4 inches and weighing 130 pounds, was
vacationing with her parents and younger brother at the Flamingo Motel
in Panama City Beach when she got into a fight with her father about
being in a hot tub on the pool deck, Chief Robert Harding said Wednesday.
"Apparently the argument got fairly heated because security responded to the room," he said.
Bland later left the room and was reported missing at about 8:10
p.m., Harding said. The brown-haired, brown-eyed girl was last seen
wearing a black and white striped bikini. She has a nose ring and a belly button ring.
"There's never a good time for a 15-year-old to go missing," Harding
said. "But in a tourist destination it's definitely a little more dicey.
... If she were walking on the streets in Lynn Haven she would stand
out, but here she blends in with the thousands of Spring Breakers."
Anyone with information on Bland's location is asked to immediately call
Panama City Beach Police Department at (850)233-5000.

Please pray for my niece Haley. Despite what people interpret, people who know her know that she is a good kid and isnt a runaway. This is not a runaway case. Something isnt right for her to wander and not come back... Please pray that she returns safely... I am looking for anything to be able to help in this search for her.

A 15-year-old East Texas Charter High School student on spring
break is missing after reportedly running away from her Panama
City, Fla., motel Monday evening following a spat with her family.
She has not been seen since, according to her mother and
authorities.

"No one has heard from her. Not a single person," Christy Bland
said about her teen daughter, Haley Ann Bland. On Monday, the 5-4,
130-pound Longview teen got into an argument with her mother and
father before storming out of the motel room, leaving her phone
behind, the mother said.

"We have talked to family members, talked to friends of the
family, her boyfriend and his parents," Bland said. "I've got
people back home that are helping out, contacting the news
agencies, getting flyers made out for us. We are going to try to
distribute flyers today and offer up a reward."The family was vacationing at the Flamingo Motel and Tower in
Panama City Beach when she got into a fight with her father,

Welcome RMurphey07. I can imagine how distraught you all are. Some reports say Haley was still wearing just her bikini and also she didn't take her phone. If that's correct it doesn't seem likely that she intended to leave the complex so this is very worrisome indeed. Do you know if people other than guests are allowed to use the facilities?

What a relief!

A runaway 15-year-old girl has gone from being a missing person to
being arrested on a misdemeanor charge. Haley Bland ran away from her
family’s hotel Monday afternoon after an argument with her father.

Michael Bland planned a family vacation in Panama City without
knowing it was college Spring Break season. He pulled his daughter out
of a hot tub when he saw her being crowded by a group of college men.
After he told her she was too young to mingle with college students, she
left. She ran away without her cell phone, purse, or even a change of
clothes. Her family didn’t see her for two days.

Wednesday afternoon around 5 o’clock she was found in a large group
of Spring breakers behind a condominium on the beach. She was arrested
on a misdemeanor charge.

Because she is a juvenile, the Panama City Beach Police cannot keep
her in custody longer than six hours. They are working with the
Department of Juvenile Justice to take her into custody, because they
are worried if she goes back to her family she will run again.
