jon mckenzie has assumed responsibility for vernan kahele, he now
resides in a safe house with his animals and his dreams. he will not be
released to anyone and will be protected and nurtured as promised to his
father (deseased) Bruce Kahele senior.
He is a very intelligent young man with the passion to heal, love
and learn. Great care is required and exercised in the rehabilitation he
will need to move forward in his life. The death of his father is not
understood by Vernan, and I accept the job of being a friend and a
mentor, such a parental figure is a blessing from god, and should not be
confused with the well being of this child.
Like myself, Vernan is experiencing grief, a post tramautic
disorder, if such an illness goes untreated or is postponed, he may not
be able to live his dreams. I alone will see that his dreams are not
ignored….I love him like my own son. Bruce would be happy.
Vernon Kahele is not lost, is not
missing, and is alive and well, he is safe, he is protected, please let
vernan be himself. He has a possitive influence on other children, a
strong desire to do the right thing, and if he is not able to make his
own choices, he may end up in prison or worse.
I will not give up on him, i am his
friend, and so he is now my family, and i dont let people hurt my
family.

Jon, Jon, Jon...If you were the appointed guardian of this boy there would be some legal documentation to attest to this.
In the meantime you could be charged with harboring a juvenile. Get a lawyer and do this the right way.
