Casey Anthony: Judge Perry rules on new motions

Orlando, FL — The other shoe has dropped in the case against Casey Anthony. On Tuesday afternoon, Chief Judge Belvin Perry Jr. has ruled on four motions on evidence being allowed in Anthony’s upcoming murder trial.

Judge Perry will allow testimony about some glue residue on duct tape found near Caylee's remains that had later faded or disappeared. The fingerprint examiner thought it might have been glue from a heart shaped sticker. Similiar stickers were found in the Anthony home.

Perry also turned down defense attempts to block the testimony of a forensic examiner who tested hair samples, believing them to come from a dead person.

The judge also turned down the defense's claims that canine searches and alerts are unreliable.
