ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - An Orange County judge dealt a series of blows to Casey Anthony's defense team on Tuesday.

Casey is accused of murdering her 2-year-old daughter Caylee in 2008.

Orange County Chief Judge Belvin Perry denied defense motions to exclude hair and cadaver dog evidence. In addition, evidence of heart-shaped residue found on duct tape on the child's mouth will be allowed at trial.

Prosecutors have tied the residue evidence to heart-shaped stickers found at the Anthony home.

Jurors will also hear about a strand of hair found in the trunk of Casey's car. The hair showed dark banding at the root, which experts say is only seen during the decomposition of a human body. This will be the first time that hair banding evidence is introduced in a Florida murder trial.
