AUSTRALIA • Taleigha JONES, 11 ~ Sydney

Police are seeking public assistance to locate an 11-year-old girl missing from Cambridge Park in Sydney’s west.

Taleigha Jones was last seen when she left her home in Lincoln Drive for school about 8.30am today.

Investigations by police indicate the child did not arrive at her school in Fragar Road, South Penrith, and a search is now underway.

Taleigha is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 150cm tall, with an olive complexion, dark brown/black hair in two plaits.

At the time she was wearing a green and white checked school dress with brown shoes and socks. She was carrying a pink and white Mango-brand bag.

Anyone with information about Taleigha’s whereabouts, or who may have seen her today, is urged to contact St Marys Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Police were alerted and commenced inquiries after Taleigha did not arrive at her school in Fragar Road, South Penrith.
She was found a short time ago at a nearby residence and is safe and well.
Local police are continuing their inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the girl’s disappearance.
