ORLANDO -- For the first time, a witness in the Casey Anthony murder trial said he notice a "smell of death" coming from Casey Anthony's car.
On Friday, Simon Birch, the former manager of the towing company that removed the Anthonys' Pontiac Sunfire from an Amscot parking lot in late June 2008, told prosecutors he noticed a strong odor around the car after it had been sitting in his towing yard for days.
"Whew, I know what that smells like," Birch recalled thinking.
