‘Casey’s car smelled like a dead body’

Prosecutors continued to stack more evidence against the accused murder Friday morning as four witnesses were called to testify in the first-degree murder case against Casey Anthony.
Simon Burch, manager at Johnson’s Wrecker Service, told the court when he came to tow Casey’s car on June 30, 2008 he smelled an odor consistent to a previous car he had towed. He was called to tow the white Pontiac that had been sitting in a local AMSCOT parking lot.
“It was an odor consistent to what I smelled in the past when it comes to decomposition,” Burch said.
