Manner of death "homicide" says ME

Orlando, FL — Medical Examiner Dr. Jan Garavaglia testified Friday in the murder trial of Casey Anthony about the autopsy conducted on the skeletal remains of her daughter, Caylee.

Dr. Garavaglia determined the two-year-old was a homicide victim, because the fact that she was missing for a month was not reported, some duct tape was found attached to her hair and the body was hidden in a vinyl bag near a wooded area down the street from the Anthony home.

"Do you have an opinion as to the manner of death in this case?" she was asked. Her reply was "homicide."
