Day 24 Of The Casey Anthony Murder Trial, Day 5 For The Defense To Present Their Case…….Any “Bombshells”?

The 24th day of the Casey Anthony murder trial, which is also day 5 for the defense to present their case has come to a close. The media really expected a “Bombshell” with River Cruz/Krystal Holloway being called to the witness stand, as she was subpoenaed and was reported as waiting in the hall to testify. It never happened. Though the day was very eventful, it was not the predicted “Bombshells” that were the bombshells, but the unexpected ones that made it a wonderful day for Justice For Caylee.

The day started out with a momentum of What Was That?, and the defense delivered for the State all day.

Before the actual trial started the issue of Mr. Baez’ indiscretions was briefly addressed. Later in the morning after a break, the witness was called to the stand and questioned without the jury being present and it was determined through the witness answering a series of questions that Mr. Baez was in “willful violation” of the courts orders. It was not the witness’ fault, but it was Mr. Baez fault as he failed to disclose the court’s orders on the matter and was in frequent contact with the witness, so there you have it. I can see a contempt charge coming at the end of this case. For now, the trunk part of the witness’ testimony will not be allowed until he is completely deposed, and there may be a need to file a motion for a brief Frye Hearing on the matter.
