Authorities search for missing Daytona Beach girl

Volusia County authorities are seeking the public's help in finding a 13-year-old Daytona Beach girl missing since June 17.
Shynesse Greene is not believed to be endangered, but made suicidal
statements to her family before disappearing, according to a press
release from the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.
The girl has run away from her Daytona Beach home before, but has
never been gone this long. She was reported missing shortly after her
mother noticed she was not home. She is known to frequent the Daytona
Beach area, according to the press release.
Greene is black with brown eyes and black hair. She is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.

A 13-year-old girl who had been missing since June 17 from her Daytona Beach-area home was located Sunday in Daytona Beach, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies were looking for Shynesse Greene because she had made suicidal
statements to her family prior to disappearing, Sheriff's spokesman
Brandon Haught said.

Greene had run away from her home on Wright Street before, but has never
been gone for as long as she was this time, Haught said.
