La Crosse Police looking for missing youth




LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The La Crosse Police Department is looking for a 15-year-old boy who hasn't been heard from since Wednesday evening.
Avery B. Gipson is 5'10' tall and weighs about 140 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Gipson was possibly wearing Khaki shorts, a white "Element" t-shirt with a tan colored tree on the front and gray Vans skateboarding shoes.
Sgt. Kirk Flatten, in a release, says that at this time, there is no reason to believe the youth is in danger.
He hasn't been in touch with family or friends since 1030pm on July 27th.

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- La Crosse Police say a missing teenage boy was found safe Thursday evening.
15-year-old Avery Gipson went missing at around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the area of 200 5th Ave. South La Crosse.
Police
say they received a call from a La Crosse MTU bus driver who had seen
Gipson in the area of Clinton Street on the north side.
Officers found Gipson at around 6:00 p.m. Thursday. Police say Gipson left home by choice.
