Police Investigate Toddler's Death At Tampa Store
Officers: 3-Year-Old Collapses At Cellphone Store

TAMPA, Fla. -- Tampa police said they are investigating the death of a 3-year-old child who collapsed at a cellphone store.
Police
said that about 8 p.m. Friday, a couple and their child entered a Metro
PCS store on Fowler Avenue. At some point, while the couple said they
shopped for a cellphone, the child collapsed and became unresponsive.
Officers
said the child was taken to a hospital, but never regained
consciousness. Police have not released the name or gender of the child.
Police said in a statement late Friday night that no medical history about the child nor cause of death is known at this time.
