JUAN MIGUEL ORONA - 10 yo (2010) - San Bernardino CA

A 10 year-old boy missing for a year from California was found Tuesday on first day of school in Albuquerque. Police
say Juan Miguel Orona was taken by his father, Rigoberto Orona, 52, a
year ago. His mother has sole custody and reported the child missing
last August. She filed a report with San Bernardino, Calif., police and
the Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
On Tuesday,
Albuquerque police got a tip that the man would be dropping his son off
at Mountain View Elementary. They arrested Orona soon after at a nearby
gas station.
The fifth grader was taken into state custody and
is expected to be reunited with his mother Wednesday morning. He is said
to be in good condition.
His father is charged with kidnapping and child abduction.
