You won’t be seeing a book from Tony Lazzaro, Casey Anthony’s former boyfriend. That project has fallen through, says a source familiar with the negotiations.

“He says he doesn’t want to go through with the book,” the source said. “There were serious talks for four or five weeks.”

The book’s focus was to be the interaction that Lazzaro and his roommates had with Anthony around the 31-day period after Caylee went missing.

Anthony was acquitted last month of first-degree murder in the death of Caylee, her 2-year-old daughter. Anthony’s defense team said the toddler drowned in 2008.

Another source had said that Lazzaro hoped that Pulitzer Prize winner Jane Healy, formerly a top manager at the Orlando Sentinel, would write the book.

But that’s one Casey Anthony story that won’t be told.
