ORLANDO, Fla. -- Casey Anthony's defense team filed a response Tuesday evening to a judge's order that she pay nearly $100,000 in investigative costs in her daughter's disappearance.

The response asks that Judge Belvin Perry exclude all costs contained in the revised expense reports, as the affidavits provided fail to establish the relationship of the efforts to the convictions by a preponderance of the evidence."

Perry ruled last week that Anthony is responsible for all investigative costs into Caylee Anthony's disappearance prior to the date that investigators determined that Caylee was dead, not missing, as she had told them.
