STEVEN KROST - 17 yo - St Louis MO

The St. Louis County Police department is asking
for the public's help in locating a teenager who authorities describe as
an 'endangered person'.
Investigators say they issued their alert following an overnight
incident that police say occurred around 2:30 Saturday morning when 17
year old Steven Edwin Krost fled from his residence in the 300 block of
Sappington Barracks.


Police are concerned for Krost who they tell News Channel 5, had
consumed a 'substantial' amount of the prescription drug Xanax, as well
as significant amounts of alcohol.

Detectives say Krost has a past history of violent behavior as well, creating additional concern for police officers.

Krost is described as a white male, 17 years old, standing five feet
eight, approximately 130 pounds, brown eyes, medium complexion and
shaved head.

Police say Krost was apparently not wearing shirt when he walked away from his home this morning. He was wearing white cargo shorts and no shoes.

went missing Saturday morning.

Steven Edwin Krost was found shortly after police issued an
endangered person advisory, seeking help in his disappearance.
Krost fled his home in south St. Louis County at about 2:30 a.m.
Saturday after consuming the prescription drug Xanax and and alcohol.

Police said he was found Saturday afternoon and taken to a local
hospital for treatment.
