Orlando Police Seek Missing 6-Year-Old
Girl Last Seen On South Semoran Boulevard

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Orlando police are trying to find a missing 6-year-old girl.

Officers said Valeria Rivera was last seen about 3 p.m. Tuesday while walking home from school with her sister in the 5000 block of South Semoran Boulevard.

Investigators said she was wearing a pink blouse, a blue jean denim skirt and a pink Hello Kitty backpack.

Officials said several police units as well as school officials are looking for her.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Less than two hours after she was reported missing, police have located a girl who went missing while walking home from school.

Orlando police said Valeria Rivera, 6, was last seen with her sister near Semoran Boulevard and Hoffner Avenue around 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Local 6 helicopter footage showed a young girl being reunited with family around 5:30 p.m. at an apartment complex. Police said Valeria Rivera was found at a neighboring apartment complex safe and unharmed.

The call reporting her missing originated from Michael McCoy Elementary School around 3:45 p.m.
