Authorities sought the public’s help in finding two teenage girls last seen together at school.

Daniela Botero Moya, 17, and Brooke Melody Leon, 15, haven’t been
seen since around 10:20 a.m. Thursday at Summit High School in La
Quinta. Their parents reported them missing later that day, La Quinta
police Lt. Jason Huskey said.

Moya is 5-foot-1, weighs 88 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing gray shorts, a white T-shirt, a gray hooded
jacket and slippers.

Leon is 5-foot-7, weighs 180 pounds and has blond hair and brown
eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black hooded sweater,
Huskey said.

Anyone with information about the girls’ whereabouts was asked to

Two teenage girls who were reported missing on Thursday were found Saturday night.

The
parents of the two girls reported their daughters missing on Thursday,
according to Lieutenant Jason Huskey of the La Quinta Police Department.

The girls were last seen together at Summit High School in La Quinta.

Saturday around 8:30 p.m., both teens, 17-year-old Daniela Moya and 15-year-old Brooke Leon were found in Indio.

Huskey
said investigators determined criminal activity was not a factor in the
juvenile's disappearance. Both girls were reunited with their parents.

"The La Quinta Police Department would like to express its appreciation
to the public for its assistance in this case," added Huskey.
