AMANDA LYNEIS - 14 yo and her Mother, NIKKI - Albion MI

ALBION — The Albion Department of Public Safety is searching for a
14-year-old girl, Amanda Lyneis, and her mother, Nikki Lyneis, both
missing for a week.

Police said they believe the mother and daughter may be with David Hartford Jr., 28, a parole absconder.


Hartford
was in the in the hospital after a police chase late Saturday but
walked away before he was detained by parole agents. The girl was with
him during the chase, police said.
Police said the girl has not been in school this week and the school has not had contact with her or her mother.
The last contact was by phone on Tuesday.

A missing teen and mother have been found safe in Hillsdale County.
14-year-old Amanda Marie Lyneis and her mother Nikki Sue Lyneis were reported missing by family Thursday.


Amanda was last seen on October 23rd after a police chase involving
David Michael Hartford Junior. Hartford was taken to the hospital after
the chase, but walked away before parole agents could pick him up.


Hartford was a parole absconder out of Battle Creek. Police believed
Amanda and her mother Nikki Sue Lyneis may have been with Hartford.


Saturday, the Albion Police Department was informed by the Hillsdale
County Sheriff's Department that they had arrested Hartford in Hillsdale
County after a high speed chase. Neither Nikki or Amanda were with him
at the time of the chase.


The two were then tracked down and are now on the way home.　

At this time police do not believe Nikki or Amanda were held against their will or were ever in any danger.
