ZACHARY and SETH AUKEMA - 8 and 6 yo - Carbondale IL

The city of Carbondale Police Department has received a report of two missing young boys on Dec. 12.
The department says officers learned Seth, 6, and Zachary Aukema, 8, were last seen on Dec. 9 in the 500 block of North Westridge Drive accompanied by their father, Alfred Aukema, 38.
Police say it is believed Aukema took the boys out of state, possibly to California, without the authority to do so.
Seth Aukema is described as a white male, 3'9" tall, weighing 45 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Zachary Aukema is described as a white male, 4' tall, weighing 60 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
According to police, the boys are of Palestinian descent.
They say Aukema also uses the names "Al" and "Allen" and is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, weighing 168 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Police say he drives a blue extended cab 2004 Chevy Silverado truck with Illinois license 90631W-B.
Aukema is wanted on an outstanding Union County warrant for criminal sexual assault.
Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the Carbondale Police Department at (618) 457-3200 or Crime Stoppers at (618) 549-COPS (2677).
