CHARLOTTE ELENA VITALE - 17 yo - Ocean Isle Beach/ Hudson NC

Investigators think a missing teenage girl from Ocean Isle Beach may be heading to Caldwell County, WECT reports.
Seventeen-year-old Charlotte Elena Vitale was last seen at her home on Sunday, the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office told WECT.

Vitale reportedly could be in the company of Tyler Bassin, also known
as "Storm," and may be heading towards Hudson, NC, the TV station
reports.

Bassin is believed to be driving a red 1990's model SUV.


Vitale is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and 110 lbs. with brown
hair and green eyes. She has not had any contact with her family since
approximately 10:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Anyone with information regarding Vitale’s whereabouts should call
the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office at 910-880-4929 and ask for
Detective April Gause.

WBTV contacted Hudson Police to ask if they are part of the investigation. As of 2 p.m on Monday, they have not been included.

HUDSON, NC (WBTV/WECT) - Investigators said a missing teenage girl from Ocean Isle Beach was found in Caldwell County, WECT reports, according to the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office.

Seventeen-year-old Charlotte Elena Vitale was reported missing after she was last seen at her home on Sunday, the sheriff's office told WECT. She had not had any contact with her family since around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Vitale was believed to be headed towards Hudson, NC in the company of Tyler Bassin, also known as "Storm," the TV station reported.

She was safely located in Hudson and is "fine and well," the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office reports.
