LISA NEEEDHAM - 21 yo/ Challenged - Garvin Cty/ Sallisaw/ Stratford OK

Deputies in Garvin County, Oklahoma, are looking for an endangered 21-year-old woman who was last seen hitch hiking in Sallisaw Monday. Sheriff Larry Rhodes says the woman has the mental capacity of a child and is without her medication.

Lisa Needham was last seen walking eastbound on Interstate 40 near the Sallisaw Travel Plaza around 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 27. Sheriff Rhodes believes Needham wants to go to Arkansas.

Needham walked away from her residence south of Stratford, Okla., 75 miles south of Oklahoma City, around 1 a.m. Monday. Witnesses later saw her hitching a ride to Shawnee with a trucker from the Wynnewood area.

Investigators believe she then hitched a ride to Sallisaw.

Sheriff Rhodes says Needham is mentally handicapped and did not take her medication, money or a cell phone with her.

Needham is a white female with short brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5’3” tall and weighs about 170lbs.

She was last seen wearing a red blouse, blue jeans, moccasin boots and a white knit sweater, according to an “endangered persons” alert from OHP. The alert also states that Needham has cerebral palsy and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD, as well.
