Poster's Note: There seems to be a homicidal death connected with this case. Not sure what happened. So it's Unresolved.
Kansas City police say a suburban teenager whose disappearance led them to an apparent homicide victim has turned up safe.
The Kansas City Star reports the 15-year-old girl was reported
missing from her Independence home Thursday night. Her parents asked
police to look for the girl at a house she might have visited in Kansas
City's Marlborough neighborhood.
Officers went to the home Friday afternoon and found a man dead. The
cause of death has not been released, but it's being investigated as a
homicide.
Friday night, police said the 15-year-old and a friend had been
located unharmed. No other details, including when and where they were
found, were disclosed.
