SHANTELL MYERS - 19 yo - Morgan City LA

The Morgan City Police Department is asking for assistance from the
public in locating a missing person.

The Missing person is identified as
Shantell Myers, 19 years of age, Black Female, 5'2" in height, weight
190pds, brown hair with highlights (last seen in braids), brown eyes.

According to her family and friends, Myers had been communicating
online with a subject only known as "Chris" or "Little C", who is from
an unknown location. "Chris" drove into Morgan City to meet Myers for
the Festival on Friday September 2nd. at approximately 5pm, which they
had apparently agreed upon. "Chris" arrived in Morgan City and called
stating he was unfamiliar with the area. "Chris" was near the store
located at Railroad and Federal and was told to wait there. Myers was
dropped off by friends at the location and got into a small brown single
cab truck with "Chris" who was described to be a black male in his
"twenties" and having a small build. "Chris" was driving and there was a
second older black male in the truck. "Chris" was supposed to follow
the vehicle occupied by her friends to the Festival grounds but never
arrived. Myers has not been seen or heard from since then. Myers phone
has been turned off since getting into the vehicle with "Chris". Myers
also frequently used an Internet Social Media page which has had no
activity since then.
