AARON EVANS - 5 Months - Baltimore MD
A 17-year-old boy is facing charges of child abuse in the case of a dead infant.
Baltimore
City Police have charged the unidentified teenager with first degree
child abuse after responding to a home in the 3000 block of Baker Street
on January 30 in response to reports of a non-breathing infant.
Three-month-old Aaron Evans was taken to St. Agnes Hospital with blunt force trauma to the head, but was expected to survive.
On
February 6, Aaron's condition worsened and he was taken to University
of Maryland where he passed away from his injuries on Saturday, March
24.
At this point, police have not released how the victim and the accused know one another.

connection with the death of his infant son.Police said officers were called on
Jan. 30 to the 3000 block of Baker Street for a child who was not breathing.The
5-month-old boy, Aaron, was taken to St. Agnes Hospital, where it was
learned that he suffered brain trauma and was not expected to survive.
Police were notified of Aaron's death on Sunday.Myron Evans, 18,
of Baltimore, was initially charged with child abuse and assault. These
charges are expected to be upgraded because of the child's death, police said.
