JILLIAN JENKINS - 17 yo - Conway AR
Members of the Conway Police Department are searching for a 17-year-old Conway girl who was reported missing Wednesday night.
According to Sergeant Jim Barrett, Jillian Marie Jenkins spoke with
her father Wednesday morning and told him she was on her way to school,
however, 45 minutes later, she had not arrived.
“Jillian’s father told us that his brother saw her driving in town
when she should have been at school, so he called her to find out what
she was doing,” Barrett said. “When Jillian answered the phone, she told
her father that she was heading to school but when her father called to
check with the school a short time later, she had not arrived.
Jillian’s father searched for her all day and called her but was unable
to make contact with her again. He reported her missing after she did
not come home or check in with friends.”
Jenkins’ family told investigators that it is not like her to avoid them and not come home.
While searching for Jenkins’, investigators located her vehicle
parked behind the 8-Mile convenience store between Conway and Vilonia on
HIghway 64. Barrett said that while investigators continue to speak
with Jenkins’ friends and family, they are asking for the public’s help
to bring her home.
Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is asked to contact
investigators at 450-6130 or text a tip to 274637 (CRIMES) using keyword
“Conway”.

Jillian Jenkins, a Conway teenager reported missing by her family three weeks ago, has been found.
Jenkins, 17, was located at her mother’s house in Beebe by police
late Tuesday after her father received information that the teen may be
at the residence, according to La Tresha Woodruff, Conway police public
information officer.
Jenkins’ father is her guardian, Woodruff said, and her mother does not have custodial rights.
“We do not know yet how long she had been [in Beebe] or if she was
there the whole time, but investigators are looking in to that,”
Woodruff said.
Jenkins was reported missing March 28 by her father when the teen was
found to be absent from school and did not return home. Jenkins’ father
reportedly told a Conway police investigator that when he spoke to his
daughter the morning of her disappearance and she told him she was on
her way to school.
While searching for Jenkins, investigators found her vehicle parked
behind a convenience store on Arkansas 64 just outside of Conway.
