Five JENKINS Children - 8,4,3,2 &1 - Liberty MO

LIBERTY, Mo. -- Four Liberty children were found
locked in a fecal-and urine-covered basement and a baby was found in a
filth-ridden crib in a Liberty house Tuesday and their parents have been
charged with five counts of endangering the welfare of a child.Liberty
police were called to the 600 block North Gallatin Street shortly after
11 a.m. on reports of a disturbance at a house of a father, Paul
Jenkins, 28, threatening his children. When police approached the house
they saw Jenkins standing at the door and quickly put him in handcuffs.Upon
searching the house, officers found four children, ages 8, 4, 3 and 2,
in the basement. A black coaxial cable was tied around the door knob and
a black extension cord which was lying up the stairs, police said.
Officers noted there was a strong odor of feces and feces smeared on the
floor and on the carpet, with only two beds in the room. There were
also clothes and other items scattered across the floor, the probable
cause statement said.The two oldest children told officers they
were locked in the basement by their father from around 8 p.m. each
night until the morning. They told officers they were locked in the
bedroom all night.Officers later discovered a 1-year-old child in
an upstairs room after hearing cries from the second floor. The
probable cause statement said that the child was covered in urine and
the crib was covered in old and new urine.Officers, while
searching the rest of the house, reported dry heaving from the strong
fecal and urine smell throughout the house. Officers stated in the
probable cause statement that there was fecal matter on the walls in all
of the bedrooms.Neighbors reported hearing a disturbance before police were called where Jenkins had threatened to stab members of his family."If
their doors are opened, and we open our doors, to get a breeze coming
through, we can't because of the putrid filth, the smell of the dog
feces, the pure smell of filth," said neighbor Michelle Schlegel, who
heard the threats and called 911."All of a sudden it was blood
curdling screams out of the the children," Schlegel said. "He screamed,
'I'm going to kill all of your f----ing children with a knife in their
head' … Ii was like, 'Oh no no no.'"The 1-year-old was taken to
Children's Mercy Hospital with severe diaper rash and a rash on his
body. The children are now in the custody of the Missouri Department of
Family Services.The mother of the children, Bethany Jenkins, was
also charged with five counts of endangering the welfare of a child. She
returned to the house as police were at the scene, but claimed she was
wrongly arrested since she wasn't there when police arrived.The couple are being held in Clay County Jail currently.

WTH do they keep having children????????????????? It's like they are just breeding victims on purpose. HTH can we ever understand actions like this? Do they do it for benefit money?

What kind of sick woman would keep spewing out babies knowing they would be unloved, uncared for, and abused. These kids very likely would have been murdered had the neighbor not called 911.

These people need to be in prison. At least that would stop their breeding.
