Police looking for missing girl

Police are asking for the public's help in locating a medically-endangered 14-year-old,



Ariyuana Robinson ran away from her foster mother and Oregon Department of Human Services staff at DHS offices in Portland on Monday afternoon. Police have been advised that Ariyuana's health may be in jeopardy if she does not receive necessary medications.

Ariyuana is described as an African-American female, 14 years old, 5'2" tall, weighing 130 pounds. She has brown hair, which she was wearing up in a bun, and has brown eyes. Ariyuana was last seen wearing a black tank top, dark-colored skinny pants and white Nike sandals.

Anyone who knows of Ariyuana's whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1. Anyone with additional information about this case is asked to contact Detective Mike Weinstein, Missing Persons Unit, at 503-823-0446.

UPDATE: As of Tuesday afternoon, the Portland Police Bureau reports "14-year-old Ariyuana Robinson has been located safely and is no longer missing."

PORTLAND, Ore. -- A search is underway for a 14-year-old girl who may be medically endangered, the Portland Police Bureau reports.

Ariyuana Robinson allegedly ran away from her foster mother and Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) staff Monday afternoon while at the Portland offices of DHS. Police say Robinson may be endangered if she does not take “necessary medications.”

She is described as African-American, 5-foot-2 and weighing 130 pounds. She has brown hair, which she was last seen wearing in a bun, and brown eyes. When she went missing she was wearing a black tank top, dark-colored skinny pants and white Nike sandals.
