Police looking for two missing teen girls

FOX 8 News received this press release from the New Orleans Police Dept. Thursday evening:
Daniell Alexus Boykins and Malika Savanna Ep (photo from NOPD)
Police are asking the public's assistance in locating 16-year-old Daniell Alexus Boykins and 15-year-old Malika Savanna Ep, who [were] last seen yesterday January 9, 2013, around 6:00pm, at a Downtown Canal Street bus stop.
Both girls were last seen by a friend at a Canal Street bus stop. The biological mother of Boykins said the girls did not return home from school yesterday. Savanna is the adoptive sister of Boykins.This is the first time the pair has gone missing and has not been seen or heard from.
Daniell Alexus Boykins is described as an African American female, 5'06" tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white, purple and green shirt with jeans.
Malika Savanna Ep is described as an Asian American female, 5'03" tall, weighing approximately 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, white hooded top, yellow plaid pants.
Detective Ashley Boult is in charge of the investigation.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Boykins and Ep are asked to call the New Orleans Police Department at 821-2222.

Two teen-aged girls who were reported missing yesterday, Daniell Alexus Boykins, 16, and Malika Savanna Ep, 15, were found at around 3 a.m. in eastern New Orleans, according to NOPD Officer Frank Robertson III. The girls had been missing since 6 p.m.; they were last seen at a Canal Street bus stop.
