Jacksonville man convicted of molesting 6-year-old boy

A Jacksonville man faces at least 25 years in jail after he was convicted of child molestation on Thursday.

Feliciano Montijo, 61, was convicted of Lewd or Lascivious Molestation of a Minor. He was taking care of a 6-year-old boy in July, 2010 when he inappropriately touched the victim, even though the boy repeatedly asked him to stop.

The boy later told his mother, who called the police.

Montijo will be sentenced the week of October 14th by Circuit Judge Kevin Blazs.
