Sheriff's report: Woman accused of child abuse

SPARTA—A Norwalk woman is facing physical child abuse charges after her six-month-old son had a seizure at 7 a.m. June 6.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Department, Tuesday G. Flickinger, 28, is accused of shaking her son on at least two occasions, causing injury to the child's brain. A doctor told investigators that there were signs of an old and new injury to the child's brain, which had several torn blood vessels and retinal hemorrhaging, as well as a traumatic injury to the frontal lobe. Police say there was no sign of blunt-force trauma.

According to the report, the child was at a babysitter's home when he became unresponsive and the woman called an ambulance. The child's father told police the child had acted strangely the night before. The child has been placed in protective custody.
Investigators have referred the charges to the Monroe County District Attorney's office.

This same woman also had a 2 year old who was murdered.  Was she also involved in this brutal murder of her other little boy?  Yes, IMO.
