State police issue Amber Alert for Camden teen

Arkansas State Police has issued a Level 2 Morgan Nick Amber Alert for a 13-year-old Camden girl who has been missing since 5:42 p.m. Monday.

The alert states Kimberly Nussey may have been taken against her will by her uncle, 38-year-old Phillip Nussey Jr., from her mother's home. The pair is believed to be traveling in a late-model white Ford Crown Victoria, according to the alert.

Kimberly Nussey is described as 5 foot 8, 140 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a light complexion. She was last seen wearing a gray cap with the letter “A” on it, a gray tank top with dogs on it and light purple pants, police say.

State police believe that Kimberly Nussey is believed to be in imminent danger, noting that the family is in the midst of a custody battle.

Calls to the Ouachita County sheriff's office were not immediately returned.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Arkansas State Police have cancelled the Morgan Nick Amber Alert on a 13-year-old Ouachita County teenager.

According to Sgt. Vincent Mills of the Ouachita County Sheriff's Office, the two were found in Milton, Florida around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

U.S. Marshals arrested Phillip Nussey and Kimberly Nussey was taken into protective custody. Philip Nussey will face charges in Florida, however those exact charges are not known at this time. Once the charges are resolved, Nussey will be extradited back to Arkansas. Two Ouachita County deputies were dispatched to Florida to take custody of Kimberly, who is expected to return to Arkansas by Saturday.

Mills said it is still not known whether Kimberly left with Phillip on her own will or against it; deputies will interview both Nusseys to determine that information. Nussey was reported missing Tuesday evening and was believed to be in imminent danger.
