KC police looking for parents charged with placing dead baby in concrete

PLEASANT HILL, MO (WDAF) – Police in the Kansas City area are looking for the parents charged with placing the body of their newborn premature baby in concrete in a plastic bucket in their garage.
The grisly discovery was found last November while police were searching for a stolen vehicle. An officer found the plastic bucket in the garage during the investigation.
Matthew Scroggs, 28, and Krystal Scroggs, 29, have been charged on multiple counts of child endangerment, and one count each of felony second degree murder. Police do not have them in custody and are currently looking for them.
The couple has four other children. They were removed from the home.
