SARAA Alert: DeAngelo Lopez, 11, missing from Belleville

BELLEVILLE, IL (KTVI) – Belleville police issued a SARAA Alert Wednesday morning for an 11-year-old boy who has been missing since Sunday.



Police believe the boy is with his mother. The father has full custody, but he let the boy visit his mother. He hasn`t heard from either of them since Sunday.

The boy is DeAngelo Lopez, 11. He is African American, 4’11”, 80 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, khaki shorts and black and white tennis shoes.

DeAngelo has a black mark on his lower lip and a half inch scar on the back of his head. He may be traveling in a burgundy Optima with Illinois license plates. The car was last seen Sunday in the 2500 block of East Main Street in Belleville.

The boy’s mother is Coreen Lopez, 29.

Belleville police say the mother may have taken the boy to a relative’s house in St. Louis. If you have any information, police are asking you to call 911.

 SARAA Alert: DeAngelo Lopez has been found safe

BELLEVILLE, IL (KTVI) – Belleville police say DeAngelo Lopez, 11, has been found in East St. Louis, Illinois, with his mother and he is safe. Both his mother and his father are at Belleville police headquarters at this time.

A SARAA Alert was issued Wednesday morning for DeAngelo. He had been missing since Sunday.

The father has full custody, but he let the boy visit his mother. He had not had contact with either of them since Sunday.
