LINCOLN GREEN - 4 yo (10/14)/ Arrested: Father; Richard Green - Pearl, MS

AMBER ALERT!!!:

Authorities with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation issued an Amber Alert for 4-year-old Lincoln Green early Thursday.

Officials described Lincoln as a white male, 3 feet 3 inches tall, 30 pounds with short blond hair and brown eyes. They said he was wearing Spider-Man boxer shorts.

Authorities said they believe Green is with 37-year-old Richard Green. They said Richard Green a light-skinned black male, 6 feet tall who weighs 260 pounds. They said he has black hair and brown eyes, and is wearing a “Livestrong” T-shirt and shorts. They said he has a pony tail.

Authorities said the pair was last seen traveling in a silver 2004 GMC Envoy with Mississippi license plate RDE397. They said the two were last seen at 403 Ivy Court in Pearl, Mississippi.

Updated: Amber Alert canceled; Pearl boy safe

An Amber Alert has been canceled for a 4-year old Pearl, Miss. boy.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation says Lincoln Green is safe and the child's father, Richard Green, is in custody.

WLBT reported that Richard Green took Lincoln after an altercation with the boy's mother.

The mother was transported to a Jackson hospital.

A truck driver spotted the Richard Green's vehicle at a truck stop in Bogue Chitto, Miss. and called law enforcement.

Lincoln was recovered and Richard Green was arrested in Pike County.

Richard Green is being held at the Pike County Adult Detention Center.
