CORY GREEN Jr. - 1 yo - Baltimore MD

Baltimore police are searching for a 14-month-old boy who was
reportedly abducted from his home early Tuesday, a department spokesman
said.

The parents of Cory Dwight Green Jr. of the 4000 block of Wilke Ave. in
Northeast Baltimore put the child to bed just after 9 p.m. Monday, said
the spokesman, Anthony Guglielmi. They told police they awoke about 2
a.m. to the sound of a door closing and discovered the boy was missing,
according to Guglielmi. Officers were called to the home about 2:30 a.m.

Police are treating the case as an abduction, which are investigated by homicide detectives, Guglielmi said.

Five other children in the home were taken to home of other relatives,
according to Guglielmi. Maryland State Police, Baltimore County police
and police academy cadets were assisting in the search.

The child was last seen wearing dark blue pajamas, Guglielmi said.

Baltimore police say a 1-year-old boy reported missing from his bed has been found.

Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi says Cory Dwight Green Jr.'s parents
put the boy to sleep at their home around 9 p.m. Monday. But around 2
a.m., Guglielmi says the family heard the front door slam and
discovered the boy was not in his bed.

A short time after police announced they were searching for the boy
Tuesday morning, Guglielmi says a neighbor heard the boy crying and
found him in an unoccupied car nearby.
