MARION COUNTY, Fla. —A Marion County man is accused in a child abuse case that left a 1-year-old in critical condition.
Sheriff's Office deputies said 27-year-old Kendall Blyden told them that the child fell out of his crib.
Investigators said the toddler's injuries did not match the story Blyden gave them.
Blyden is the boyfriend of the child's mother.
He's charged with aggravated child abuse and violation of probation for drug use.
