JUAN GOMEZ MISSILDINE - 20 months - Montgomery AL

A warrant has been
issued on Guan Roman Gomez, 24, a black-haired Hispanic male with the
last known address of 2429 Locust Street in Montgomery, [AL] for
Interference with Custody, a class C Felony.

Gomez is possibly driving
a silver or sand colored Honda Accord four-door with a roofing sticker
on the side and a dealer tag.


At approximately 3 p.m. Saturday Montgomery Police
Department patrol units responded to the 60 block of Michigan Avenue in
reference to an interference with custody of a 20-month-old child.


The child victim, a male, is Guan Gomez Missildine, who is
white, 2 feet tall, weighing approximately 22 pounds, with black hair.

The Montgomery Police Department is requesting that anyone
who has information regarding the whereabouts of the suspect or victim

Police said he could be driving a metallic 2002 Metallic Gold Honda Accord with "BEAR ROOFING" Decals on the door.

A 20-month-old boy remains missing after being kidnapped Saturday afternoon. Authorities
are searching for Guan Roman Gomez, a 24-year-old Hispanic male who is
accused of taking infant Guan Gomez Missildine in an interference with
custody case. Interference with Custody is a class C Felony. Gomez may have been driving a 2002 gold Honda Accord with decals that say "Bear Roofing" on the door. Authorities
do not believe the child is in any physical danger, but they are trying

Nearly a week after 20-month-old Juan Misseldine went missing, good news. The child has been located safely. The
boy went missing on August 15 when Juan Gomez, 24, drove off with the
child. The case was handled as an Interference of Custody
investigation, a Class C felony. Authorities never believed the child to be in any physical danger. The
boy's recovery happened around 1:45am Friday after a security
officer at Three Flags Apartments in Montgomery recognized Gomez.
The man was knocking on the door of an apartment. The security
officer told authorities that when no one answered the door, Gomez
handed the infant over to him and drove off in a silver four-door Honda
Accord. The security officer immediately took Misseldine to
police headquarters. Medics were called but they reported no injuries
to the child. The child was reunited with his mother a short time later. As for Gomez, police are still looking for him. He reportedly told the security officer he'd planned to go to Florida.

It was a story that broke in mid-August; a 20-month old
missing child and the search for a suspect, 24-year-old Juan Roman
Gomez.
The baby was found safe a week later after a security guard at Three
Flags Apartments saw Gomez knocking on a door at the complex. When no
one answered, Gomez handed the child to him and drove off.
While Gomez, who hasn't been seen since that night three months
ago, allegedly told the security guard he was heading to Florida,
police found him a lot closer to home: on the Atlanta Highway.


Police pulled the suspect over in a Gold Nissan Altima Sunday. He
gave officers a false name, but authorities quickly made a positive
identification on him through photographs at police headquarters.
The baby, Juan Gomez Missildine, was taken from his mother's home on
August 15th in an interference with custody case, a class C Felony.
Gomez now sits in the Montgomery City Jail facing the charge of
Giving a False Name to a Law Enforcement Officer. A hold is also in
effect for the Montgomery County Jail where Gomez will face the felon
interference charge.
