A township teenager disappeared early this week, her family said, and hasn't been heard from since.April
Goodwin, 16, ran away on Sunday, said her mother, Lucille Igneri, also
of Aberdeen. Igneri said she reported her daughter missing to the
police, and wants the high schooler to know her family is desperate to
hear from her.Aberdeen police said they are investigating a missing person, but would not give details."I
just want to know where she is," Igneri said. No matter what, she said,
"anybody will come get her. We just want to hear something."

According to family members, April Goodwin, 16, left her house last Sunday morning, Sept. 4, and has not been seen since.
According
to family members, Goodwin is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs
approximately 130 pounds. She has a dark complexion and black hair with
red highlights. She attends Matawan-Aberdeen Regional High School.

Township Police Chief John Powers said the department is actively
investigating the missing persons report. Anyone with information about
the teenager is asked to contact the police department at 732-566-2054.

Police are asking for the public's help in their search for a 16-year-old girl who

Goodwin left her Ivy Way home on the morning of Sept. 6, and phone and
Internet records indicate she may have been heading to the Boston,
Mass., or Monticello, N.Y. areas, or to New York City, according to
police. Family members told police she may have entered a small blue pickup truck driven by a black man.
Goodwin is about 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs about 150 pounds, and has
a light brown complexion and black hair that was recently highlighted

believed to have left her home for an undisclosed location on the
morning of Sept. 6. At this point in the investigation, Goodwin is
considered to be a runaway, according to the Aberdeen Township Police
Department. Phone and Internet records indicate that Goodwin may have been heading
to Boston, Monticello, N.Y., or New York City, police said in a press
release. Witness reports from family members also indicate the teen may
have gotten into a small blue pickup truck driven by an African
American male, police said. "We just want her to come home," said her stepfather, Christopher Moran. According to family members, Goodwin is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs
approximately 150 pounds. She has a light brown complexion and black
hair with red highlights. She attends Matawan-Aberdeen Regional High
School. Aberdeen Township Police Chief John Powers said the department is
actively investigating the missing persons report. Anyone with

A missing 16-year-old township girl was found in Massachusetts on Wednesday, police said.
April Goodwin, who had been missing since Sept. 6, is safe, and
arrangements are being made to reunite her with her family in New
Jersey, said Lt. Joseph Cole.
Cole said the case remains under investigation.Police
had previously said she was believed to be a runaway, and during their
investigation, they found phone and Internet records indicating the
teen could have been heading to either the Boston area or New York.
