GEOMARI YOUNG - 2 yo - North Charleston SC

An AMBER Alert has been issued for a 2-year-old boy who was last seen at 11:30 p.m. Monday night.
Geomari R. Young was last seen at 11:30 p.m. Monday night at an
apartment in the 2400 block of Alston Avenue in North Charleston.
Investigators believe his abductor is 27-year-old Geonaldo R. Young.
The victim is described as a black boy standing 3' and 32 pounds
with brown eyes and brown, close-cut hair. He was last known to be
wearing a gray tank top and a diaper.
Geonaldo Young is described as a black man standing 6' and 180
pounds with brown hair and close-cut hair. He was last seen wearing a
red shirt, blue shorts and white shoes.
The suspect and victim may be traveling in a green or dark gray Mazda.

The State Law Enforcement Division issued an Amber Alert Tuesday morning for 2-year-old Geomari Young, and Geonaldo R. Young.

According to the SLED website, Geonaldo Young abducted Geomari from an apartment on Alston Avenue in North Charleston.

Geomari Young is 36” tall, and weighs 32 lbs. He has brown hair, cut
close, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray tank top, and a
diaper.

The alleged abductor,the child's uncle, Genonaldo Young, is 27-years-old. He is a 6’
tall black man, with close cut hair, and brown eyes. He weighs 180
pounds, and was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue shorts, and white
shoes.

Young is supposed to be driving a green or dark gray Mazda, with Virginia tags

Call 911 if you see the car or Young.

A South Carolina toddler taken from his
home has been found unharmed, and police are searching for his father,
whom they say abducted the child and assaulted the mother.North
Charleston police said Tuesday that 2-year-old Geomari Young was turned
over to authorities by a relative of 27-year-old Geonaldo Young. The
elder Young is a violent offender whose previous charges included armed
robbery, assault and resisting arrest.Authorities say they
received a call from the child's mother around 2:45 a.m. Tuesday,
stating she had been assaulted by Young, her ex-boyfriend. The woman
says she was held against her will but managed to escape. When police
arrived, Young and the boy were gone. Geonaldo Young will face
additional charges for the Tuesday abduction and assault.
