FINLEA MITCHELL - 15 yo - Springfield OH

Officials have not yet heard from a pregnant teen who has been
missing from a local group home for the last three days.
Finlea Mitchell, 15, has been missing from Youth in Transition Inc. since
Sunday, Nov. 22.
She has several medical conditions that warrants immediate treatment,
according to a news release.
“We haven’t heard from her yet,” Youths in Transition Director Sam Singletary
said Wednesday, Nov. 25. “We hope she’s OK.”
According to the release, the teen is black with a medium brown complexion,
shoulder-length black hair and brown eyes. She is 5-foot-1 in height and
weighs about 208 pounds.
She was last seen wearing a bathrobe and high-heeled shoes leaving the group
home in a vehicle being driven by an adult.
Singletary said Mitchell has a history of running away.
“I don’t want to say too much about that,” he added. “We hope we can get her
to a place where she’s stabilized.”
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the
Springfield Police Division at 937-324-7680.

Poster's Note: Here's my observation about the MSM coverage of cases like this. Reporters are quick to grab onto the story but THERE"S NO FOLLOW-UP!

Hello, my name is Trent King. I am a detective with the Springfield (OH) Police
Division, and I handle missing persons cases. You had emailed regarding Finlea
Mitchell, and I have an update for you. Finlea was located shortly after being
reported missing. She was in Dayton, Ohio, which is 20 or so miles from
Springfield. She had a warrant for her arrest and was placed in Montgomery
County Juvenile Detention (Dayton) pursuant to that arrest warrant.
