ANDREA SAWYER - 11 yo - Odessa TX

A missing persons alert has been issued for an 11-year-old Odessa girl.

But
there's a twist. She and her 7-year-old brother were allegedly abducted
from their foster home by their own father last night.


According
to police, the father and one of the children, a little boy, have been
found after an all day search. Last night the father reportedly took
both kids from their foster parents.

Right now the father and son are with Child Protective Services, in what has now become a custody issue.

At this point police say no crime has been committed and CPS will determine what to do next.

But CPS tells us that the father in fact broke the law when he violated a court order that removed the children early this month

Again
there is a missing person's report for the little girl named Andrea
Sawyer. At this point circumstances do not call for an amber alert.

UPDATE 10:30 PM
Odessa, Texas - According
to a family member, 11-year-old Andrea Sawyer was found with mother
around 6:30 PM this evening. Andrea, along with her brother, are now in
custody of CPS.
