MAYA FLECKENSTEIN - 12 yo - Parma OH

(Parma) - Police are seeking the public’s assistance
in locating a 12 year old female who apparently walked away from Summit
Academy School at 5868 Stumph Road around 3:20 p.m. Wednesday.

She
is identified as Maya Fleckenstein, a black female, who is 5’2”, weighs
120 lbs., with brown eyes, and black hair, which is pulled back into a
bun.

She
is further described as a “special needs student” who was last seen
wearing a pink coat, green shirt, navy blue pants and sweater.

Although
there is no reason to suspect foul play at this time, anyone with
information regarding her whereabouts is requested to contact the Parma
Police Department at

PARMA, Ohio -- Police said the missing 12-year-old girl who walked away from Summit Academy in Parma Wednesday has been found.Maya Fleckenstein was last seen walking away from the school on Stumph Road, just after 3 p.m. on Wednesday.Police
said Fleckenstein was located alive and well on Thursday. She was found
on Cleveland’s southeast side, in the area of Putnam Avenue and East
119th.Fleckenstein was tracked down and transported back to her
family, after she made several calls to her friends from the east side
address.Police used canines and a helicopter to search for the girl. The FBI, Cleveland and Parma police all aided in the search.There were no indications of foul play.
