Circumstances
of Disappearance: Maya was last seen at Bellaire High School. She left
after 1st period. She went home and took a backpack with extra
clothing, her passport, Social Security card, bed cover, pillow, her
favorite stuffed panda bear, and some food. According to the family,
she left with an adult male in his 1999 Chevy Cavalier. The are very
concerned that Maya is being exploited.

Medical Conditions:
Maya is mentally retarded and is very naive and trusting. She cannot
make her own decisions, and based upon her mental capacity, functions
at approximately age 8.
