So glad to see something on Jennifer Kesse. That family seems to be genuine. None of the circus around them as with so many others. They have not made money off their daughter as with so many others. We need to help them every way we can. Good people.

Jennifer
Kesse's parents plan to celebrate her 29th birthday today, but first
they have to deal with the trial of a Georgia man who once hinted at
being their daughter's killer.
JENNIFER KESSE - 24 yo (2006) - Orlando FL Kesse%20jennifer%20pic_sJennifer remains
missing almost five years after she disappeared from her Orlando home on
January 24, 2006.Andrew Scott Haley called himself the
"catchmekiller" and on You Tube he claimed to have 16 victims, hinting
that Jennifer was once of them. Haley also claimed that missing Georgia
teacher Tara Grinstead was another. You had to play his game to
find them. The "clue" was scrolled at the end of his videos. Instead the
cops found him and he confessed to a hoax.Haley on TrialJennifer's
father remains upset with Haley, not even glancing at him during
testimony Wednesday."You know, I haven't been looking his way. I
don't know what it even is to look at the man," Drew Kesse told WDBO in a
phone call from Hall County, Georgia, where the three-day trial is
being held. Haley is charged with making false statements and
evidence tampering. Drew Kesse says he and his wife, Joyce, plan a
dinner to mark Jennifer's 29th birthday, wishing they were home
instead. "It's obviously very tough doing what we have to do here and
having that come up," said Kesse.Fond memories of their daughter
remain. "We loved her until the last day that we saw her and we still
love her now," he explained.JENNIFER KESSE - 24 yo (2006) - Orlando FL Jennifer_kesse_sJoyce wrote a
letter to her missing daughter this month, In part, it reads: "I think
of you and smile and remember the good times, our rough years when you
were a teen, and then our relationship transforming once you went to
college. I am so glad that we had the chance to have that adult
relationship, not just mother-daughter, but 2 women who loved and
respected and treasured each other."Tips keep coming in on
Jennifer's appearance. Some to Orlando Police, others directly to the
Kesse Hotline and website.

These people are so real. All they want is their daughter home. And there has been no media circus surrounding them. They have not made money off their daughter. I have corresponded with Drew Kesse several times and know them to be the real deal. All they ask is for us not to forget about Jennifer.

FBI Reviewing Jennifer Kesse Case

Posted: 3:28 pm EDT June 4, 2010Updated: 4:57 pm EDT June 4, 2010ORLANDO, Fla. -- The FBI is helping in the investigation into missing Orlando woman Jennifer Kesse (photos of Jennifer). She vanished four and a half years ago from her condo near the Mall at Millenia.
In all this time, there hasn't been a single major clue about what happened to Kesse. She disappeared in January 2006. Now, Orlando police have asked the FBI to step in and help.
For years, Kesse's family has been hoping for answers. Friday afternoon, Jennifer Kesse's father, Drew, told WFTV his family has been hoping the FBI would step in; he said the news that the FBI has agreed is good for Jennifer Kesse.
Four years and four months after the disappearance of Jennifer Kesse, her family just got reassurance that investigators aren't giving up on her case. After exhausting all viable leads, Orlando Police Chief Val Demings contacted the FBI to request a review of her department's investigation.
"There's been a lot of work and a lot of effort into finding Jennifer, but its time for a new set of eyes to take a look at it,” Drew said.
Jennifer’s family is hopeful some fresh eyes might generate new leads. Jennifer disappeared from what are now the Mosaic at Millenia Condominiums (see map) around January 24, 2006. Two days later, her abandoned vehicle was found less than a mile and a half away. Her car was parked by an individual captured in surveillance video (see video | image).
Friday, an FBI spokesman told WFTV the agency typically doesn't get involved in missing person’s cases, but because of Orlando’s official request they have agreed to do an assessment of OPD’s investigation.
“As much as Orlando police have tried, you are only so good at so many things you know and they tried their best,” Drew said.
The FBI's assessment will likely include a review of any forensic evidence collected by Orlando police, making use of its extensive lab in Quantico, Virginia. The FBI hasn't ruled out additional interviews and may also make use of behavioral analysts to better understand who might be responsible for Jennifer's disappearance and why.
The FBI may also follow up on some of the same leads that came into Orlando police headquarters, but the agency hopes to generate some leads of its own.

JENNIFER KESSE - 24 yo (2006) - Orlando FL Jkesse1_370x278

Jennifer Kesse's Sorority sisters at the University of Central Florida
called her "mother hen" because of the way she looked after everyone and
always made sure her "sisters were safe" - that's why it took all of
them by surprise when she disappeared, apparently the victim of the very
crime she tried to protect them from.
When, on January 25, 2006, the usually punctual Jennifer failed to
show up at work her worried co-workers called her cell. When they got no
answer they immediately called her parents. That would
be the beginning of a now 4-year-long mystery surrounding the
disappearance of the 5-foot-8 green-eyed blonde who her father describes
as "smart, stubborn, loving and kind." Drew Kesse spoke
with reporters recently about his daughter's disappearance and
about why they "will never stop looking for her." "We
understand the odds of finding her alive," Drew said, but his daughter
deserves their tireless efforts because she was the kind of person who
would never stop if she were in their place. It didn't matter what the goal, if she set it for herself she got it,
Drew said, recounting the time, her senior year of high school when she
decided to run track and "win at least one point for her team." "She
chose the two mile...and she wanted to score just one point," Drew
recalled to Crimesider. "She ran her heart out and got 3rd place and got
that point. And I was right there in the stands cheering her on."
Now Drew is championing Jennifer's case just as hard as he cheered
her that day, pushing the investigators from day one when the first
responding officer laughed off their missing persons report, made just a
few hours after she failed to show up at work that Tuesday morning.
"He just laughed and said 'she probably got in a fight with
her boyfriend and went to blow off steam,' but we knew that wasn't
Jennifer's style," Drew says. Since that day Drew and his
wife Joyce have fought to get four Florida laws passed pertaining to
missing person classifications, including one that raised the minimum
age of the missing child alert to 26, and requires that after 90 days,
their DNA be entered into local state and national databases.
Drew is also on the advisory board of the Missing and Endangered
Persons and Information Clearing House. He was previously president of
the association. As with many adult missing persons
cases, investigators immediately dug into Jennifer's personal life
looking for anyone who might have had a grudge against her. They looked
at her boyfriend, Rob Allen, who was the last to speak to her at around
10 pm the night before she disappeared. But they were able to establish
that he was miles away in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Drew
says it's possible that someone with a personal connection to Jennifer
is responsible, but he finds it highly improbable that he wouldn't know
about it. Jennifer talked to them about everything, Drew says. Jennifer
was always open with her family and friends as to what was going on in
her life, no matter how personal.
Drew says the most
likely scenario includes the workmen who were doing repairs around her
condo complex. Jennifer told him more than once that she felt
uncomfortable having them around. Drew told her that if even one time
one of them made any kind of inappropriate comment, she should go
straight to management and have them fired. He worries that perhaps that
was what put her in danger. Jennifer was ultra cautious
and a stickler for personal security. She would always make "safe calls"
- talking to someone on her cell until safely in her car or house -
when she was walking alone at night.
When the men worked on
her condo, Jennifer would be extremely cautious, says Drew. "She would
stand there at the front door with it open and have me or someone else
on the phone the whole time." It's an awareness she was
raised with by two people who are no strangers to crime. Years
before they had children, Drew and his wife Joyce were held at gunpoint
in their home in New Jersey. "I stared straight into the barrel of a
gun, I could see the bullets in their chambers." As a result the family
always talked about worst case scenarios and what to do if they find
themselves in a dangerous situation. This might be the
most upsetting and disquieting fact in the case for those who knew
Jennifer best - she seems like she should be the last person in the
world this would happen to.
Drew says despite the
fact that Jennifer has been missing for over 4 years, the impact of her
disappearance still feels incredibly raw to her friends and family. Her
boyfriend at the time, Rob Allen, still keeps in touch with the Kesses
and hasn't dated since. Most of her friends moved closer to their own
parents after it happened, feeling the need to be closer to their
families. But Drew insists that they are not the
victims, though they have been victimized; the sole victim is Jennifer
and he doesn't want to ever pull the focus from her - and the search for
her - whether she is dead or alive.
"We are 99.44
percent Ivory pure sure we won't find her alive" but they refuse to give
up the remaining slim hope, Drew reminded. Jennifer's
case has recently been transferred from the Orlando Police Department
to the FBI. Drew hopes the new set of eyes on the case, as well as the
considerable resources of the FBI, will help bring Jennifer home.
Anyone
with information in the disappearance of Jennifer Kesse is asked to
call the FBI's Tampa office at 866-838-1153.

JENNIFER KESSE - 24 yo (2006) - Orlando FL Empty THIS IS ON JENNIFER KESSEE CASE

Post by evonka12 Thu Aug 25, 2011 3:46 am

I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS...I JUST STARTED LOOKING INTO THIS CASE AND I USED TO BE AN OFFICER I ALSO LIVED IN DAYTONA, FL FOR YEARS.....I KNOW THE AREA IN QUESTION VERY WELL. I FEEL THAT THE ORLANDO POLICE DEPT. DIDNT DO ENOUGH ON THIS CASE, I KNOW NOT ALL THINGS ARE SHOWN TO THE PUBLIC SO UNLESS I KNOW ALL THE FACTS, I MUST BELIEVE THAT MORE COULD HAVE BEEN DONE. LOOKING IN FROM THE OUTSIDE: HOW CAN A GROWN WOMAN DISAPPEAR WITH NO CLUES WHAT SO EVER EXCEPT A VIDEO OF A GUY IN HER CAR???? POLICE HAS SOLVED CASES WITH EVEN LESS TO GO ON AND CANNOT SOLVE THIS ONE.....THAT IS TRULY SAD.....SO AGAIN I SAY.....A PERSON LOOKING IN ON THE OUTSIDE CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY ROB ALLEN WAS DISMISSED SO QUICKLY AS A SUSPECT?????? HIS ACTIONS ARE NOT OF A LOVING CARING BOYFRIEND....MY BOYFRIEND WOULD HAVE BEEN AT MY CONDO SO FAST HE WOULD BEAT HER PARENTS THERE. SECONDLY HIS STORY ABOUT CALLING HER HAS DISCREPENCIES AND HE SAID HE SPOKE TO EVERY MORNING IF SOMEONE ALL OF A SUDDEN DOESNT DO WHAT THEY HAVE ALWAYS DONE AND HE DIDNT EVEN WORRY JUST THOUGHT IT WAS ODD. WHAT HAPPENED ON THEIR VACATION???? HOW DO WE KNOW THEY DIDNT BREAK UP OR FIGHT, WAS IT CHECKED OUT ANY PEOPLE QUESTIONED???? I JUST THINK SHE MAY HAVE KNOWN THE PERSON SINCE THERE WAS NOT STRUGGLE. THAT IS ONLY ONE THEORY....I HAVE ANOTHER....THE FRIENDS THAT STAYED AT HER PLACE...WERE THEY QUESTIONED AND WHEN WAS IT KNOWN THAT THE FRIENDS CELL PHONE WAS LEFT THERE BEFORE SHE WAS MISSING OR AFTER AND WAS THE PHONE THERE AT THE CONDO WHEN THE PARENTS OR POLICE ARRIVED..I CAN ONLY ASSUME NOT BECAUSE THEY SAID THEY WENT TO SEE IF SHE MAILED IT....SO IT MUST HAVE BEEN GONE....WAS IT EVEN EVER THERE OR WAS A STORY TOLD BY A FRIEND THAT DID SOMETHING TO HER......WAS HIS PHONE PINGED??? DID HIS PHONE LOOK LIKE HER PHONE???? WERE ROB ALLEN'S FRIENDS OR THE BROTHER'S FRIENDS........FRIENDS OR RELATIVES CHECKED OUT......HOW ABOUT ROBS HOUSE, OFFICE ?????? I THINK FRIENDS AND FAMILY BEING RULED OUT SO FAST WAS A WRONG THING TO DO ON ORLANDO PD PART....AND AS FOR THE WORKERS IN THE CONDO...WHY WERENT THEIR PLACES CHECKED..ANY CONCRETE POURED, WALLS BUILT, THEY COULDNT TALK TO ALL OF THE WORKERS THERE..SOMEONE HIRED THEM AND HAVE RECORDS....I FEEL SO BAD FOR HER PARENTS....AND BROTHER....I LOST MY SON AND IT NEVER STOPS HURTING....I WISH MORE VIDEOS WERE CHECKED IN THAT AREA, TOLL BOTH VIDEO, THE GUYS WALKED SOMEWHERE, NOW IT IS TOO LATE TO CHECK THOSE VIDEOS.......THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON IT BUT IT IS NOT THEIR KID MISSING SO HOW HARD ARE THEY REALLY GONNA LOOK AND NOW THE FBI HAS IT AND THEY ARE EVEN WORSE THAN A LOCAL POLICE DEPT. ANYONE HAVE ANY ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS...PLEASE REPLY TO ME...AS I WISH I COULD HELP IN ANYWAY POSSIBLE...THANK YOU....

New Search for Missing Woman in Orlando

January 06, 2012 07:06 PM EST
Missing Orlando woman Jennifer Kesse vanished in 2006, but a
sudden search for her took place today in a wooded area in Florida. What
brought investigators and searchers to this location after so many
years? Unfortunately, nothing was found in the search for Kesse today,
but it would still be interesting to learn more about this case and why,
four years later, was a "massive search" undertaken.
JENNIFER KESSE - 24 yo (2006) - Orlando FL Jenn-kesse
When Jennifer Kesse was reported missing in 2006, she vanished from her
condo in Orlando. Her car was discovered just a mile or so away at a
nearby apartment complex. Although there are no suspects in this case
and have never been any arrests, police have surveillance footage of a
"person of interest" dropping off Jennifer's car. There is also footage
showing the same person walking away from the aforementioned apartment
complex.
So who is this person, and why haven't police made any
arrests since 2006? In 2010, the search for Kesse was officially called
off, and the FBI took over the investigation. Since then, nothing has
really happened and there have still been no arrests. Why? Who was this
mystery person driving Jennifer Kesse's vehicle?
What brought investigators to orchestrate such a massive search of the wooded area
today? Over 100 police officers scoured the woods with searchers,
searching for signs of the woman missing for four years. Why? Were there
new tips or leads in the case? Have they gotten a hold of this
mysterious person of interest?

Still Missing After 8 Years

January 2014 – 8 Years Missing

This January 24th marks 8 years since Jennifer was last seen or heard from. She has seemingly fallen off the face of the earth through the heinous act of Abduction. We her family, friends and even strangers miss Jennifer tremendously. The task of finding Jennifer and bringing her home has only gotten more challenging at this point in time with the passing of time, yet that fact will not deter us from continuing our search and efforts to locate Jennifer. To date there has been an incredible amount of energy and resources utilized in the fight to find her yet she still eludes us in every way. The efforts have also been the same in trying to identify and locate the Person of Interest filmed dropping Jennifer’s car off 1/24/2006 at high noon 1 mile down the road from where Jennifer called Home in Orlando, Fl.. The frustration this has brought not only to this family but to Law Enforcement can no longer be measured. They simply don’t make charts that go that high. On every level for 8 years Jennifer’s case has shown little results and has stymied some of the best Investigating agencies available to her. Her case has been handled by approximately a dozen different investigators as well as 3 SMART Panels made up of the best of the best who have solved cases, tough cases, as well as the FBI. Still, we hold out great HOPE of finding Jennifer for we know that Someone Knows Something that can end this desperate search quickly and successfully. Jennifer needs that person(s) to step up and speak up NOW. We have stated from day one that we will not rest, we will not stop the awareness for Jennifer and we will not settle for anything less than finding her. It is our unconditional love we have for her that will give us the strength, ability and fortitude to continue this fight until she is Found. It was love which created Jennifer and it will be that love that finds her. We have said it many times the trials and tribulations we go through truly mean little to nothing compared to what Jennifer has or had endured for so long. Our feelings, emotions, and wants mean nothing. It is Jennifer that all energy, resources and actions should be used on. We are merely the by-product of her crime.

To the person or persons who took Jennifer or have information about Jennifer’s abduction we offer you this. We do not care who took her, why she was taken, where she has been and what has been done to her. All we care about at this point in time is EXACTLY WHERE SHE IS so she is found/recovered and cared for in the proper way in any manner needed, for the good or bad. We don’t care if Jennifer’s crime was planned or just a crime of happenstance. We don’t care if it was a mistake, an accident or passion or punishment to her for something she may have done to someone or thing. All those questions don’t really matter. What matters is she is found and brought home. There is still a reward of $5,000 for information leading to Jennifer’s whereabouts. It’s there for the taking for Information only. We call on any person with information to make the call to Crimeline, 1-800-423-8477(TIPS), No Names, No ID, just information, Orlando Police 407-246-2470(or any of their direct #’s), FBI 1-866-838-1153 or a Lawyer who can protect you, your identity and still access the reward money. We know you may be scared. We know you may not think the information you have is important, just make the call. A burden will be lifted from your shoulders immediately.

Lastly, to Jennifer. We love you so much and miss you. A second does not go by that we are not thinking of you and trying our very best to do the things needed to find you and bring you home. We are sorry we were not able to protect you. We are sorry there are people in our world who feel it is OK to take another person against their will. We are sorry it has taken so long and will take even longer before we get to you, but we will. We will not let evil win. We will not let mountains or oceans get in our way. We will not let silence of those who know what happened stop us. The information needed to find you will be uncovered and you will be with us once again where you belong. That we promise.
