HANNAH LYNN HARRIGAN - 4 yo - Elkton MD

ELKTON, Md.

Maryland State Police, on behalf of the Cecil County Sheriff's Office,
have issued an Amber Alert for 4-year-old Hannah Lynn Harrigan.

Harrigan was last seen around 5:30 p.m. Friday with 32-year-old Peter Jyles Pelletier at 5655 Telegraph Road in Elkton.

Police describe Pelletier as a white male. He was operating a 1995 Ford
Mustang, forest green in color, with Maryland registration 9EFL19.
There is some damage to roof and several spots have silver and/or black
tape

Harrigan is described as being a 3 feet tall, 42 pound, white female.
The child was last seen wearing a pink coat, blue jeans, and a black
"Hello Kitty" long sleeve shirt.

Police believe the child was abducted by the suspect. Pelletier is
further described to be 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds. The
suspect may be wearing a dark coat and black hat.

Police say do not take action if you spot the vehicle which could further endanger the child.

Maryland State Police have deactivated the amber alert for a missing Elkton child.

The alert was cancelled shortly before 3 a.m on Saturday.

Police say 4-year-old Hannah Lynn Harrigan has been safely recovered, and a suspect is in custody.

A man who allegedly abducted the 4-year-old daughter of his
estranged wife on Friday is in custody after police arrested him at a
Glasgow convenience store with the girl still inside the car, early
Saturday.

The girl, Hannah Harrigan, suffered no injuries during
the eight hours that she was held captive by 32-year-old Peter Jyles
Pelletier, whose last known address is the 100 block of 5th Street in
Delaware City, Del., according to police.

Police say a Delaware man has been charged with kidnapping and child
abduction after a 4-year-old girl was kidnapped in her mother's car in
Maryland.

Peter Jyles Pelletier, 32, of Delaware City was arrested early Saturday. He is being held on $100,000 secured bond.

Lt. Bernard Chiominto of the Cecil County Sheriff's Office says the
4-year-old was in the back seat of her mother's car Friday evening when
Pelletier allegedly stole his estranged wife's car.

The child's mother said she met Pelletier and the two got into an argument.
