North Little Rock - Pulaski Co. authorities are asking for the public's help in locating a missing teen.



According to the Pulaski C. Sheriff's Office, 13-year-old Magan Celine
Adineh Kharat is believed to have run away early Friday morning from
9128 Highway 161 in North Little Rock.

Kharat was last seen near the Little Rock Airport around 3:30 a.m.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office at (501) 340-6963.

Megan is missing!!! We (family and friends) are very worried about her and fear that she is with an older man that she met on the internet! Please be on the look out for her as we worry that the police and news do not take runaways as seriously as they should.

---Mary, we will help anyway we can. I have PM'd you some links that I would recommend that you utilize in your search.
Additionally, my experience has been that you will get much more action if Megan is listed as "stranger abducted" as opposed to "endangered runaway". Even if you just have a shred of evidence that she is involved as you say then that description would be appropriate.

A Little Rock family is hoping for a special birthday present. Magan
Adinah-kharat turns 14 on March 19^th, it also marks one month since
she disappeared.

Deputies at the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office say
they have handed the case over to the FBI. Now there is exclusive surveillance
video even Magan's family and friend's haven't seen, until
Thursday.

Surveillance video shows 13-year-old Magan and a man
authorities believe is 22-year-old Angel Flores checking into the Days Inn motel
moments after Magan's family says she ran away with the man she met online.

"It makes me mad that he
took advantage of a young 13-year-old girl that was so naive, has never been out
with a boy on a date, anything, nothing at all," Magan’s mother Janet said.


Over the past few weeks there has been a massive search to find Magan,
including electronic billboards, flyers and even a Facebook group with more that 7,000 members. Friday marks a
month since she ran away. Now her family believes someone is holding her
against her will.

"I believe she would have at least called us to let us
know 'hey I'm fine don't worry about me.' But we haven't had not one phone call
from her to say that she's fine," her mother said.

Employees at the Days
Inn say Magan and her friend looked odd.

"They walked in out of the
hotel parking lot, walked down the street with backpacks on. It just looked kind
of out of the ordinary," Days Inn employee Charles Erwin said.

That's
when the hotel employee says he saw the couple leave the Days Inn and walk over
to a nearby Waffle House for lunch.

"Whoever got my daughter just let her
go. That's all I want. I want to hold her one more time in my arms. Day by day.
I just live day by day to see her come back home," Essie Adinah-Kharat, Magan’s
father said.

"Tomorrow (Friday) is Magan's birthday. She'll be 14. We
want to tell her happy birthday wherever she's at. We want her to come home to
be with her family," Janet said.

The hotel employee says Magan didn't
look 13-years-old. He says she and her friend just appeared to be an adult
couple. There have been no other confirmed sightings of Magan since the video
was recorded.

The FBI would only confirm they are investigating. Magan's
parents say, agents are now requesting phone records from Flores and his friends
to get a better idea where they may be now.

A 14-year-old girl missing for a month and a half is back home in
North Little Rock after being found in Mexico.

Magan Celine Adineh-Kharat was reported as a runaway Feb. 19, and
investigators believed she had left the country.

Investigators with the Pulaski County sheriff’s office worked with
the United States Attorney’s Office and the FBI to pursue leads on
Adineh-Kharat’s whereabouts.

She was found by the FBI in Mexico and safely returned to Arkansas
today.
