The AARON Children - West Palm Beach FL

West Palm Beach FL ---- A West Palm Beach couple has been arrested for acts of child abuse so
brutal that investigators say they often involved the couple using their
fists, cable cords, ropes, belts and boards to beat their three young
children.

Officers
responded to reports of abuse after one of the couple's children had run
barefoot and crying to a neighbor's house after being beaten.
Investigators met with the child and she described being hit with a cord
by her mother that afternoon. She also told investigators that her
mother and step father would regularly hit, punch and choke her and her
siblings for misbehaving.

Investigators found new wounds as well
as old scars on the children consistent with the abuse. The children
were taken to St. Mary's Medical Center to be treated and Department of
Children and Families responded to file a report.

West Palm Beach
Police arrested Christopher and Jerita Aaron on charges of cruelty
towards and child and child neglect. They remain in the Palm Beach
County Jail. The children were placed in DCF custody.
